Enit
Touring festival with an earthy theme (outdoors) created by Perry Farrell which had a very rocky first year in 1996 (acts such as Porno For Pyros and Love and Rockets). In 1997 there was only one Enit date which was in San Francisco (indoors) as part of the Jane's Addiction Relapse tour. This show was historic in that the city allowed those over 21 to stay in the venue to enjoy the festivities until about 6:00 AM.

Fishbone
Los Angeles based band with ties to many in the scene. Members Chris Dowd and Norwood Fisher guested on Jane's Addiction major label debut album Nothing's Shocking.

Flea

Love, Courtney

Love Fades

Dave was a member 1993-1998 alongside Anthony Kiedis, Flea, and Chad Smith. In the guitarist timeline Dave was inbetween Jesse Tobias and John Frusciante (second round). Dave was first asked to join the group to tour with them for the 1992 Lollapalooza festival.

Reed, Lou
Cited influece of Dave. Former vocalist/guitarist of The Velvet Underground and solo work. With Spread Dave covered the song "The Bed" from the album Berlin. The first release from Spread Entertainment, Inc. was supposed to be Reed's album Man Music Machine.

Regurgitator

Relapse
The Jane's Addiction reunion of 1997 was dubbed the "relapse".

Rhimorse
Unreleased ep from Dave. The CD contains about 4 or 5 songs, mainly done on acoustic guitar. Dave basically spent a week in his home (1995) writing and recording songs to flush out his feelings on his then recent divorce. Aimee Echo performed some vocals on it. Dave's original intentions were to take the pressed copies to local music stores to be given for free to customers. He changed his mind as he thought some of the things expressed inside might be hurtful to his ex-wife. Pieces of it have been released/reworked on Trust No One and its subsequent singles ("Sunny Day", "Very Little Daylight", "Somebody Else").

Ritual de lo Habitual
Jane's Addiction second album under Warner Bros. released in 1990.

Rolling Stones
Cited hate of Dave's. Jane's Addiction's cover of "Sympathy For the Devil" is on their debut album. The Red Hot Chili Peppers have opened for them. Dave has since said he is a fan.

Rollins Band
Toured with Jane's Addiction during the first Lollapalooza festival in the summer of 1991. Dave played with them during the tour and at a show the following summer. Dave was jamming with Henry Rollins, Flea, and Chad Smith when the Red Hot Chili Peppers asked Dave to join the band.

Ruined Eye
Side project Dave was involved with that started as Brain Taco. Ruined Eye consisted of Keith Morris from the Circle Jerks, Dave, J Yuenger and Sean Ysuelt from White Zombie, and Greg Rogers. They covered "Land of Treason" for the Germs tribute album A Small Circle of Friends (1996).

Siouxsie and the Banshees
Cited influence of Dave. Toured with Jane's Addiction during the first Lollapalooza festival in the summer of 1991. Dave played with them during the tour on a Velvet Underground cover.

Smith, Chad
