Once again, Dave is hosting the “I’m an unknown singer and want to join a band of famous musicians I’ve never worked with before” reality series known as “Rock Star”. Last year it was INXS, this year it is Supernova (Tommy Lee, Jason Newsted, and Gilby Clarke). The show’s website goes live on July 3 and the show broadcasts on July 5 on CBS at 8pm.

In addition, this year there will be “Live Like a Rockstar” events across the nation. The Panic Channel will play at the Los Angeles event only but there will be subsequent events in Chicago, New York, and Boston. You can only win tickets to these events through the show’s website.

The Panic Channel will be shooting their first video for the single “Why Cry” in downtown Los Angeles on Friday, June 16. They are looking for fans to play the part of, well, fans! They want people to dress up like they are going out to a show but you can’t wear any band shirts, white, or be too ugly, hehehe.

- You must be 18 years of age or over with valid ID and you must be available ALL DAY & EVENING on June 16th (times to be determined).
- THE FOLLOWING ATTIRE IS PROHIBITED: Absolutely no band shirts. No shirts with advertisements or logos. No white.
- VALID ID WILL BE REQUIRED ON SET. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO COME DRESSED & READY TO GO.

Spread Radio Live presents The Panic Channel at The Dragonfly in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 17, 2006. Tickets are only $7 as advertised on the flyer but are available online for $7 + $1 fee and might be available at the door on the night of the show for $10. Doors at 8:30pm. Opening bands KHZ at 9:15pm, Killola at 10:15pm, and then The Panic Channel at 11:15pm.
